I can't place my order, it won't accept my address?
Is your address outside of the UK? We can only accept orders inside the UK on our site, if you wish to order internationally please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a personalised quote for postage
How can I return an item?
First email email@example.com with your order number and date of order, this then alows us to track your return and keep a look out for it ready for processing. We will then send you details on how to return items, please note they need to be in the original packaging and unworn/used. Please check our shipping and returns info for more information.
Can I just swap items for another size?
Our website automatically calculates stock changes and keeps us informed of orders. If we had emails and posted items coming in from different locations we may lose site of this and lose your order and exchanges so we run a refund and reorder policy to ensure we keep control and don’t lose any orders. If you think you might be between sizes, we recommend you order 2 sizes and return wrong one. We refund very quickly.
Are you an actual shop, can I just come to your address?
No we are not a shop. That’s how we manage to keep costs low as we are primarily online. However we do have an appointment system so if you wished to order and collect, or get a shoe fitting you can arrange a time to suit you.
Do you have a phone number?
Highland Dance Shop is a very small online shop which means we are not able to manage phone lines at regular hours. We often work evenings supporting our overseas customers, out visiting suppliers or posting orders. As a result we ask you to email and we get these messages no matter where we are and can respond to your query without any background interruption even if its from the post office queue!
Can I pay over the phone?
We use PayPal as our preferred method of payment for security so we do not have any access to anyone’s personal card details. PayPal also comes with customer support so our customers can claim money back easier if they felt our service was not suitable. If PayPal doesn’t work for you we have bank transfer and cheque payments. We can also send an invoice through PayPal which limits use of a PayPal account
